Chris Vasi Project April 30, 2010

Chris Vasi Project performs live on-air during the Global A Go-Go show, 5-7 pm on WRIR-FM 97.3, as part of their fund drive. This performance will reunite the lineup from the Chris Vasi "Vesuvius" album: Chris Vasi: guitar (Electric and nylon-string), Roberto Curtis: saxes, Carter Blough: bass, Drex Weaver: drums & percussion. Copies of the Vesuvius CD are being used for pledge premiums. The band will actually play from 5:30 to 6:30, and will include interpretations of songs from Cuba, Brasil, and Africa, and new original compositions.
