Veteran performer Chris Stovall Brown has had his heart and soul in the blues for over three decades, traveling all around the world performing and producing with some of the greats. From an early age he was already drumming with R&B/Blues giants like Big Mama Thornton & Sil Austin, playing harmonica with Luther Georgia Boy Johnson and George Harmonica Smith, and trading licks on guitar with Bo Diddley, Howard Tate, James Cotton, Henry Butler, James Blood Ulmer and many others. He co-produced Watermelon Slim’s first two discs (one of which received a Handy/BMA nomination) and has appeared on recordings with Earring George Mayweather, Sax Gordon, Ron Levy, & Weepin Willie. His current collaboration brings a tight trio of talented musicians which features Chris Stovall Brown (vocals, guitar and harmonica), bassist Marty Ballou (Duke Robillard, Peter Wolf, John Hammond bands) and Chris Anzelone (Johnny Hoy’s band) on drums.
