You can call Chris Rock many things, but you can?t say he?s lazy. Lauded by critics and the public alike, Rock is determined to remain this generation?s strongest comedic voice. Throughout his career, Rock has re-defined standup comedy with his smart and incisive takes on race, relationships and society. Rock reached huge achievements during his politically incorrect, hilarious stand-up career, but has also appeared on the acting stage and in dozens of feature-length films. Honing his comedic skills on the comedy club circuit helped Rock realize a long-held dream when he joined the cast of ?Saturday Night Live? in 1989, where he spent three years. Rock?s feature film debut was in Beverly Hills Cop II with Eddie Murphy, one of Rock?s inspirations for pursuing a comedy career.
