Chris Demarest - Guest Artist-In-Residence October 17, 2011

Chris Demarest will be setting up his paints and easel in the Memorial where he'll be painting and hanging portraits honoring the "greatest generation" - the men and women of World War II. Working with Curator of Collections, Britta Granrud, Mr. Demarest has selected from the collection a number of images of World War II women on the job, which will be the focus of that part of the exhibit that will relate to women. At completion, the exhibit will include some 40-50 images of the men and women of World War II.
