Chris Cornell shot to stardom during the late '80s early '90s grunge era as the frontman for Soundgarden. After winding down Soundgarden in 1997, Cornell worked on his first solo effort, which became 1999's 'Euphoria Morning.' In 2001, Cornell joined Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello's group Audioslave, releasing three albums with the band before departing in early 2007. Cornell is touring behind a new solo release, 'Carry On.'
