Before beginning the headlining run, Brown is slated to perform at the Powerhouse 2009 concert on October 27 at Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ. The radio-sponsored show will mark Brown's first official public performance since his high-profile altercation in February with then-girlfriend Rihanna.

The performer initially pleaded not guilty in connection with the pre-Grammy Award ceremony incident, which sent Brown's popularity plummeting and resulted in radio stations pulling his tunes from the airwaves. However, that plea was later changed to guilty as part of a deal that included five years of probation and six months of community labor, according to the Los Angeles Times.
