The Choral-Aires Chorus, a Sweet Adelines International medaling chorus, invites competitive female barbershop quartets to the final session of a three-part series of quartet workshops. This session focuses on readying quartets for competition and offers a significant experience to fine-tune each quartet’s performance package.
The workshop, held from 7 - 10 p.m., Thursday, February 23, at Downers Grove First United Methodist Church (1032 Maple Ave., Downers Grove), offers a faculty with deep experience including the 2011 Region 3 Champion Quartet, Roxy, and Joan Boutilier, a master director and sound judge with Sweet Adelines International. Space for this free workshop is limited; early registration is recommended. Registration begins January 23 on the Chorus website at http://choral-aires.com. Contact Stacey Haskins at 219.743.2176 or at stacey5000@sbcglobal.net for more information.
