Choral Techniques Workshop: Developing Musicianship in Children through Choral Music October 3, 2009

With emphasis on choral music for the treble voice in elementary and middle school grades and selections from the Betty Bertaux Choral Series, this workshop will cover warm-ups and techniques for encouraging healthy voice use and beautiful, resonant singing in children. Rehearsal techniques and tips for developing memory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm skills and part singing will be offered. Twelve to fifteen choral selections will be examined. Come prepared to sing!
