From the violence of war, a longing for peace. This common desire as expressed in the compelling writings of Nobel Peace Prize winners will be featured in Chor Leoni’s Noble Peace. The concert features the premiere of a newly commissioned work by Bob Chilcott, an arrangement by Ken Cormier of Elgar’s Nimrod, and works by Nysted, Mendelssohn, Lang, and more. Solemn and hopeful, Noble Peace explores our common desire for peace while honouring our peacekeepers, soldiers, and those lost to war.
Tickets also available at the door or from the church office.
