CHOCOLATE SEIZURE 2008
Join us in making the first wine in North America designed to pair fantastically with chocolate
TasteTV, producer of Chocolate Television and the International & Luxury Chocolate Salons, has teamed with Crushpad to create the very first wine specifically designed to go pair well with chocolate:
CHOCOLATE SEIZURE 2008
The design team for this one of a kind boutique wine consists of TasteTV, Crushpad winemakers, a panel of top artisan chocolatiers and food & wine journalists, and you - the chocolate lovers -- who will jointly decide on the flavor components that should be blended into the first chocolatiers cult wine:
"Domaine de Taste Amerique: Chocolate Seizure 2008."
The $40 cover price will include panel participation, chocolate & wine tasting, and a reserved bottle of the Limited Edition red wine: Chocolate Seizure 2008.

The wiki and this listing have now been updated with more info. We hope you see you on campus in August!
do we reserve a place here ? or add our names to the wiki ?
The wiki says sign-up is here.
- Neil.
As Neil says, yes, please sign up here. I'll drop an email round nearer the time to confirm numbers.
I've added a section to the wiki for proposed sessions. Feel free to add your own: Barcamb Wiki
A proposed time line for the day is now up on the wiki.
How strict is the "topics at the interface between science and technology" requirement? The two topics on the wiki so far don't seem to be very science-related; is there scope for more 'traditional' BarCamp sessions?
@Matthew: Absolutely. The current scope is purely a guideline. Technical disucssions are welcome along with more esoteric topics.
Yo.
Bit quiet here...
But i'm in :) Lots of Ruby/OS X/Interactive Design experience.. :)
Quiet indeed... I'm interested in consumer technology, embedded systems, wireless, and privacy/security.
Excellent - I'm interested in rapid development methods and their application in scientific computing. That and the semantic web - you've got to love the semantic web.
Folks should feel free to post their interests or talk proposals here or on the wiki.
Sounds good - can anyone offer a lift from Cambridge? I live next to the railway station
Looks like it's going to be fun. It's nice to see some cool things happening on campus (I'm from EBI).
BarCamb is drawing near, and we're nearing capacity! A couple of things:
Are there still places?
I would like to attend too!
@wallismg: yes - a few places left. Feel free to sign up here.
And we're there!
We've hit our limit, so I've closed the guest list for now. Those signed up as attending should get an email in the next day or two to confirm.
We're good to go!
I sent out an email to everyone signed up as attending the other day with more details on how to get here and what to do when you arrive. If you haven't received this, please do let me know by dropping me a note, or an email to: matt.wood at sanger.ac.uk.
The details are also up on the wiki: http://www.barcamp.org/BarCamb
Looking forward to meeting you all on Friday.
If everyone who is attending could drop me an email with their full name, I'll make sure that security is expecting you.
Any problems, just let me know: matt.wood at sanger.ac.uk.
I've just finished uploading the raw notes that I took during some of the talks, you can find them here:

I may have gotten names or url's incorrect, so just let me know in the comments and I will amend them.
Oh yeah, I can't spell and type, so my apologies for any dingers.

The wiki is a little sparse. Are there any details on times and maximum numbers?
