Chinese Garden Mansions April 28, 2007

SPEAKER: Mr. T.K. Ho, retired Hong Kong government civil servant and former honorary secretary of Hong Kong Archaelogical Society gives talk with slides. TOPIC: Chinese garden mansions are meticulously designed to depict tranquility, as well as harmony with nature. Even within a limited space, the landscpape offers a harmonious and complentary blend among varied structures, plants, ponds and rocks. One such garden is Vancourer Chinatown's Sun Yet-sen Garden. In a colourful slide presentation, Mr. T.K. Ko will show interesting pictures of the mansion gardens in China that he visited.
