Synopsis: In this dramatic comedy set in 1968 San Francisco, a former mainstream reporter, Peter Choy, starts his own local newspaper in Chinatown and struggles to keep it afloat. While investigating a murder, he finds himself at odds with everyone in his path. The police, a competitive TV reporter, the community's business leaders, and even his own wife and niece are all sources of endless frustration for Peter when all he wants is a cup of coffee.
