A very interesting lecture by somebody who visits her subject regularly, including recently.

1. Nobody wins an appeal in a political case.
   
2. The 4^th generation is very nationalistic, and believes world is out to get China.
   
3. When foreigners speak of peaceful protests, many Chinese don't believe them, becasuse in China there is no coverage of peaceful protests, only rioting.
   
4. Crude but effective censorship.
   
5. Colonial relationship between China and Tibet - economic development in the interest of settlers, not indigenous people.
