Chimneys and Towers: Charles Demuth's Late Paintings of Lancaster' exhibition features paintings by Charles Demuth (1883-1935), Demuth's ideas of gathering local elements of Lancaster with the modernism of the American avant-garde is explained and illustrated through not only his Lancaster paintings, but another 20 objects, including preliminary drawings, a sketchbook, photographs of Lancaster, related watercolors and conservation photomurals.
