Chillicothe Chili Fest September 26, 2009

The Chillicothe Social Society is proudly celebrating our 6th Annual Chili-Fest! This year we are pleased to
announce that the proceeds will again benefit Rock-for-Tots!
The 6th Annual Chili-Fest will be Saturday, September 26th on 2nd Street, Chillicothe from Mulberry to Paint Streets’.
This year we will again have a Bike Show at the
event which will be coordinated by the local Harley Owner’s Group (H.O.G.).
Music will play all day featuring local favorite Matt Salyers and we will and we will have a panel of Celebrity Judges for some added entertainment during the day as well!
Back by popular demand, will be a chaperoned kid’s play area complete with bouncies, slides and candy-art from Lloyd’s Sweet Shoppe in the Majestic
Courtyard!
The main event is the chili cook off! Cooking begins at 9:00 am and the doors open to the public at 12:00 pm. Each 4-man team serves their chili to the public and is judged by a panel, of Celebrity Judges this year, in hopes of earning the honor of being the 6th Annual Chili-Fest Champion! This is a great chance for promotion and team-building for any staff or
organization.
At the 2008 event more than 500 attendees entered our gates to sample our 24 chili entries! The study that was done for the Downtown Revitalization effort for Chillicothe featuring Chili-Fest as “Signature Event” * and had more attendees than ever at last years event and anticipate more in 2009!
