Children's Toys and Pastimes July 9, 2011

Although Thomas McKinney had no children of his own, many children of close relatives called Onion Creek home in the 1850s and 1860s. Learn about some of the common toys and pastimes of children in the 19th century. This is a family friendly event with displays and demonstrations. Children (and grownups) can make their own cornhusk doll and play games from the time period! Fees free for Texas State Parks Pass holders, $5 adults and free for children 12 and under.
