Childrens acquisition of language is one of the most intriguing facets of child development. This course aims to introduce you to the major theories of how children learn language, as well as the stages children go through. We will also cover bilingual language development, language development in atypical populations, and have a brief look at how children learn to read. Details of this event may be subject to change.
