Children's Creative Drama Class October 2, 2010

Lemon Bay Playhouse will hold a children’s theatre workshop which will begin Saturday October 2 and continue each Saturday of October. The grand finale will be a showcase performance by the new thespians for their family and friends on Sunday October 24. Acting classes not only help a child to grow artistically, but often develop life skills that can transfer to other areas of their lives as well. We love working with our kids and work hard at creating an environment where each feels safe to create and explore. Our instructor, Bobbi McMillin, has had several years of experience in children’s theatre workshop. Not only will the children learn about theatre but fun theatre games will help them to think for themselves, have confidence and improve memory.

Classes will be held from 9:30am to 12:00pm with class size set at a maximum of 10 students ranging in age from 7 to 11. The total cost for all five classes is only $50. Registration forms must be turned in by September 25 so register early to be assured of a spot. Forms are available at the Lemon Bay Playhouse Box Office, 96 W Dearborn Street, Englewood.
