Take your young naturalist to hands-on classes at Houston’s home for nature. Classes are separated into age groups of 3-5, 5-8 and 9-12. Classes coming for the weekend of Friday, February 18-19 include:

Tadpole Troopers classes are nature investigations for 3, 4 and early 5 year olds accompanied by a big person of their choice. On February 18, Come leap and jump like a frog. Naturalist Explorers classes introduce children ages 5 to 8 to environmental and natural history topics in a fun and enthusiastic atmosphere. EcoTracker classes inspire young naturalists - ages 9 to 12 - to explore their surroundings and deepen their knowledge of the natural world. Ants have a social structure within their colonies In “Colony Dwellers” on February 19, explore how each job is essential to the community and how important communication is.
