The 150 young singers (ages 9–18) of this acclaimed chorus have lots of fans—among them National Symphony Orchestra Music Director Leonard Slatkin, who calls the chorus “invaluable—it’s hard to imagine this city without [them].”
They have performed with the NSO and in concerts throughout the Washington area, in New York, and internationally. They perform in an irresistible concert with the Washington-based gospel and folk vocal ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock—whose beautifully blended voices are sure to make a stunning counterpoint to the chorus.
This performance will last 90 minutes with an intermission.
