Chicago Symphony Orchestra: Friday Night at the Movies February 25, 2011

The ever-popular Friday Night at the Movies series brings film scores to life as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra performs music from blockbuster movies while memorable footage and feature films are shown on the big screen. The final concert of the 2010/11 season is a special tribute to Chicago's own Pulitzer Prize-winning film critic, Roger Ebert. Under the direction of Richard Kaufman, the Orchestra performs music from some of Ebert's favorite films, including 'Casablanca,' 'The Third Man,' '2001: A Space Odyssey,' and 'Gone with the Wind,' as well as works by his favorite film composers
