Chicago Sinfonietta Global Voices concert: Kiran Ahluwalia March 22, 2009

The Chicago Sinfonietta welcomes Indo-Canadian artist Kiran Ahluwalia in a special orchestral presentation of the ancient vocal tradition of Ghazal, featuring original songs by Kiran.

It’s part of Global Voices, where Ghazal will be joined with the flamenco inspired works of Manuel de Falla and the Hungarian folk influences of Zoltan Kodály.
