Chicago Dancing Festival: Celebration of American Dance August 22, 2009

Join us under the stars for "Celebration of American Dance," the free final performance of CDF 2009. Featuring dancers from Chicago Human Rhythm Project, Step Afrika!, Houston Ballet, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company and Les Ballet Grandiva!
For this performance, the seating area will open at 5:30 PM. Prior to that, guests may line up on the east walkway, located to the right of the Pavilion seats, as you face the stage.
DanceWorks Chicago will teach selected phrases from Twyla Tharp's The One Hundreds

5pm on the Great Lawn
The Chicago Dancing Festival is a project of the Chicago Dancing Company in association with the Museum of Contemporary Art and The City of Chicago, Millennium Park.
