Aerial circus: Compagnie Transe Express. In what is sure to be a highlight of the summer cultural scene, trapeze artists from France perform Maudits sonnants, a visually stunning mixture of acrobatics and live music, while suspended from a crane high above the ground.

Not to be missed! July 11 and 12 at 9:00 pm in Navy Pier's Gateway Park.

Fireworks follow the July 12 performance, which celebrates Bastille Day.
