Described by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer as "vastly talented, vastly resourceful, and vastly committed to the music of their time," The Chiara Quartet will collaborate for the first time with the Juilliard String Quartet at Greenwood Music Camp's Benefit Concert. Greenwood Music Camp was founded in 1933 with the aim to encourage young people to realize their musical potential. Greenwood strongly believes that the combination of life and chamber music experience will lead to extraordinary musical and social growth. The members of the quartets hope to further support and enhance the extraordinary experiences that Greenwood provides for young and aspiring musicians through
this special benefit concert. The program includes Lutoslawski’s String Quartet and Mendelssohn’s Octet.
