Chestnut Hill College will host the 7th Annual United Nations Conference on Teaching Peace and Human Rights on Thursday, March 29 at 9:30 a.m. in the East Parlor, St. Joseph Hall. This conference, a United Nations Academic Impact Event sponsored by Global Education Motivators (GEM), will feature experts in the field of human rights and peace education. Ramu Damodaran, chief of the UN Academic Impact Initiative, will deliver the conference keynote speech. The conference fee is $35, and is open to the public. An additional fee of $35 is required to participate in the second day of the conference, which requires travel to the United Nations.
