The pop musical Chess tells the story of a romantic triangle involving two players in a world chess championship, loosely based on the characters of Victor Korchnoi and Bobby Fischer. It takes place during the waning years of the cold war, and features the 80's dance club hit "One Night in Bangkok." Lyrics by Tim Rice. Music by the ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. The Boston Conservatory Theater, $20 general, $10 seniors. $5 students.
