Captain 'Sully' Sullenberger has flown thousands of routine flights over the course of his accomplished 30 year career. One flight, in January 2009, catapulted this extraordinarily well-trained, prepared and modest professional into one of the most admired people of our time. He piloted US Airways flight 1549 to a safe landing in the Hudson River, preserving all 155 lives on board. He was named one of Time's 100 Most Influential Heroes and Icons of 2009.
