Hey Miami fans,
This summer, McDonald’s is connecting young adults across the country with a new music program called McDonald’s® Live, a free ten-city tour featuring the latest music releases and emerging recording artists. The tour stops in Miami on August 28 at 6:30pm with a 45-minute performance by Che’nelle, the breakout artist whose Capitol Records single, “I Fell in Love With The DJ,” is a burgeoning national radio hit and already the No.1-selling ringtune in Japan! Che’nelle’s much-anticipated, self-written album is Things Happen for a Reason.
Che’nelle is just one artist featured on the tour that is traveling to nine other cities across the U.S., where concerts are performed free for fans at McDonald’s restaurants. A few Y-100 listeners will have an opportunity to meet her before the show.
Fans can view the concerts, check the tour schedule and purchase concert t-shirts at mcdlive.com. After the tour concludes, visitors to the site can vote for their favorite artist. The musician or group with the most fan votes will be featured in a McDonald’s advertising campaign next year.
"My music is a mixture of many things and I feel that it helps me connect with a lot of people on a lot of different levels," said Che'nelle. "I'm so excited to be a part of McDonald's Live because I get to bring a diverse culture like Miami together through my music."
