Get ready for some great family summer fun as the 169th Chemung County Fair returns
Tue. Aug. 2nd through Sun. Aug. 7th, at the Chemung County Fairgrounds, 170 Fairview Rd., Horseheads, N.Y. 14845.

The Fair promises to be bigger and better than ever with all the entertainment, rides, exhibits, games and food you’d want. The list of things to do is endless with Stoney Roberts Demolition Derby, Rodney Atkins, KSR Motorsports, Broken Rodeo, and truck and tractor pulls, and of course the latest amusement rides presented by Strates Shows on our expansive Midway.

Free entertainment includes a petting zoo, The Big Tiny Young Show, Oxen Demonstration, Harness Racing, Living History Displays, Caricatures, and Texaco Country Showdown.

This year we are pleased to proudly present “The Magic of Lance Gifford & Co.” a nationally acclaimed award winning magician and illusionist show that will leave you asking “How did he do that?” Lance Gifford's unique style and flare for theatrical presentation sets his illusions and magic tricks apart from those of the average magician. He and his company perform some of the worlds most modern and intriguing illusions, including the "Death Drop" one of only 3 magicians brave enough to attempt this stunt. Lance Gifford & Company continues to entertain audiences using numerous animals. Some of these "family members" in his troupe include doves, rabbits, toy and standard poodles, this is a not to be missed show and free with paid admission.

Fair Gates Open at 11:00am daily 10:00am (Saturday)
Rides & Midway open at 4:00pm (Tuesday) and at Noon (Wed. - Sun.)
