In this world premiere comic mash-up of neuroscience and surrealism, Pig Iron Theatre Company translates the absurdities of human nature into a series of highly physical vignettes. Part laboratory, part vaudeville theater, 'Chekhov Lizardbrain' pulls inspiration from doctor/playwright Anton Chekhov and the "Three Brain" theory of Paul D. MacLean to peel back the layers of the human mind. The four award-winning performers careen between trancelike dances, perception experiments, and full-throttle hilarity.
