We're celebrating Black History Month. It's a Roaring 20's throwback and tribute to dancer and singer Josephine Baker. This grand dame of the stage rocked France with her risque,topless banana dance and has inspired our 5-course menu. Come and sit back, relax and have a glass of wine on us while we do thecooking! This is an intimate demonstration class where you will sit, watch and then eat at the end of class. ~ Menu ~ Prohibition Gin Soaked Olives & Nuts with Fresh Herbs Black Pearl Crab Deviled Eggs with Blackberry-Shallot Marmalade Red Velvet Soup - Roasted Yams, Pomegrante Molasses, Bacon, Smoked Paprika Croutons Bronzed Venus Quarter Chicken with Pink Peppercorn & Coca Cola Glaze Yukon Gold Potato and Parsnip Hash - Braised Greens Bananas Foster Bread Pudding with Pecans and Spiced Rum Take Home Candy Bar: A dozen or so candies were created in the 1920's including Baby Ruth, Bit-O-Honey and Oh Henry!
