In 1999 Time of Orchids was born with two of it's orginal members, Chuck Stern and Jesse Krakow who now rock on with two new members, Dave Bodie and Eric Fitzgerald. Upsilon Acrux's music shows the inspiration of classic prog-rockers Magma and King Crimson as well as out jazz innovators Ornette Coleman and Albert Ayler.
