Chashama's Fall Benefit October 15, 2004

chashama, Inc. is a non-profit arts organization, founded by Anita Durst, that revamps unused commercial real estate into spaces that artists can use for rehearsals, performances, or galleries. At our Fall Benefit we will be honoring Jeffrey Gural, President of Newmark and Company Real Estate, as well as Cora Cahan, President of The New 42nd St. There will also be live performances by several chashama performers as well as a silent auction of chashama artists in residence. All the proceeds of the benefit will directly support AREA (Accessing Real Estate for the Arts), our major initiativ to create temporary arts spaces in vacant real estate in NYC.
