BIOGRAPHY
I'm a songwriter, performer and activist. I'm also finishing up a music degree, teaching guitar and volunteering at the local food bank.
This year has been quite exciting. I played at the Oregon Country Fair and the Northwest Folklife Festival, and I'm looking forward to the Pike Market Buskers' Festival and the Spokane Fall Folklife Festival. Also I've received several positive reviews of my latest CD and am already planning the next one!
In past years, I've performed at the Northwest Folklife Festival, the Spokane Fall Folklife Festival, the Pike Place Market Buskers' Festival, Seattle Hempfest and The Fremont Fair. I've also toured in Montana, Oregon, Washington and western Canada, and have appeared in the concerts of both the Seattle and the Palouse Folklore Societies. In Seattle, I've performed at The Bathhouse Theatre, the Tractor Tavern, The Two Bells Tavern, Cafe Zoka, El Diablo Coffeehouse, Grateful Bread Cafe, and many other venues.
I've shared the stage with Baby Gramps, The Danny Godinez Band, Artis the Spoonman, Paul Benoit, Jim Page, Amber Tide, Andre Feriante and Brian Cutean, to name a few. I've appeared live on KMUN radio (Astoria, OR), KGLT Public Radio (Bozeman, MT), KGPR Public Radio (Great Falls, MT), KCWU (Ellensberg, WA), KONP (Port Angeles, WA), and CFUV in (Victoria, BC). I've also received airplay on Northwest Public Radio.
Outside of my solo career, I also perform with my friend Susan Harper, as the duo "Crooked Line", and I have written some choral arrangements for student singers at my college.
