CharlotteMusician.com wants unsigned artists or bands of all genres to submit songs for a chance to appear on the "Uptown Sound," Volume 1 Compilation Album.
The winners' music will appear on the compilation that will be distributed to Charlotteans and local media and music industry contacts. The compilation will not be sold; it will be distributed to potential fans for free. Winners will be eligible to perform at a showcase following the album release. All entries must be original music and cannot contain illegally sampled material. The entry fee is $25 per song. Entries must be received by Oct. 31.
