His father played jazz sax; his mother loved country music. Ron Guiterrez developed an appreciation for every note on the musical spectrum from an early age. Born and raised in Topeka, he spent much of his time listening to his brothers and sisters work harmonies by groups as diverse as the Beatles, the Jackson 5, and the Mamas & The Papas.
