Charles Bradley has had a lifetime of paying dues, having nomadically labored for decades at various day jobs from Maine to Alaska - singing and performing in his spare time - before re-settling in his hometown Brooklyn and eventually finding a musical home at Dunham Records, an imprint of Daptone Records. The label's debut album of its inaugural vocalist, 'No Time For Dreaming,' was released in 2011. In his distinctively rough-hewn timbre one hears the unmistakable voice of experience - each note and gruff inflection a reflection of his extended, sometimes rocky, personal path. Since the album's releae, Charles has been touring with The Menahan Street Band and honing his passion as a singer and an entertainer - Charles Bradley spent most of his life dreaming for a better one, and now there is no more time for dreaming, just time for singing, dancing and loving!
