The "20's and 30's Going Out Group" from MeetUp.com is hosting a social hour in honor of The Nature Conservancy! Come join us on December 13th at Cafe Asia (near the Farragut West Metro stop in DC) to meet other conservation supporters and learn more about the projects The Nature Conservancy is working on in Maryland, DC, and northern Virginia.

Suggested donation at the door is $10. Note that 80% of the proceeds will go to The Nature Conservancy's oyster restoration project in Harris Creek, a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. Over the next couple of years, the Conservancy will help build a 350+ acre reef: that's larger than the size of the National Mall! This is the largest oyster restoration project in history on the Chesapeake Bay! The other 20% covers Meet-Up fees and expenses for hosting this event.

There is no need to RSVP for this event; just show up and have some fun! And bring your friends!

If you have any questions, please email Kate Arion at karion@tnc.org.
