Multicultural comedy night gets back in the ring for round two

Mark your calendars for 9pm on November 11 at Clinton?s! The second annual Rallying the Troupes charity fundraiser is guaranteed to have something for everyone. Not only will you see a hard hitting line-up of Toronto's greatest sketch, improv and stand up comedians, you will also get to help out some people who really need it ? a double whammy of feel-good action!

Rallying the Troupes promotes the principles of diversity, unity and charity through comedy. The event will raise funds for two Toronto-based non-profit organizations, Na-Me-Res and Common Ground Co-op, and it will, once again, showcase comedians who identify as racial/cultural minorities, who have disabilities, who are women, or who are any combination of the above ? performers who are greatly underrepresented on comedy stages. But don?t let the pro-active mandate scare you, this event promises to be one of the hottest tickets in town.

This year?s main event includes performances by Tonto's Nephews, Nile Séguin, Dumkunts, Show 'N' Prov, Mutt, Shernold Edwards, Mysterion the Mind Reader and Colette Kendall, with videos by Jane Luk, Jen Radomsky and Not Yet.com. We are also very pleased to have music compilations by DJ Eye of the Storm after the show.

This is a one-night-only event that is not to be missed! Space is limited; please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
