Lemon Bay Playhouse’s second show of the season is the delightful romantic comedy, Chapter Two, written by Neil Simon and directed by Rita Corn. Laughter and heartache mix in this semi-autobio- graphical work (based on Simon's marriage to actress Marsha Mason) as a recent widower and divorcée struggle to commit or not to commit.
George Schneider (Robert La Salle) is a widower who is having a difficult time dealing with his loss. George’s brother Leo (Wil Horton) is a brash press agent who is married but has a roving eye for Jennie’s actress-friend Fay Medwich (Michelle Neitzel) who is confronting her own marital prob- lems.
Chapter Two opens October 27 and runs through November 14. If you enjoy quick, witty repartee and a funny, touching and poignant story of loss and love, you’ll want to book your tickets as soon as possible. (Contains some adult language.)
Tickets are available weekdays 10 am to 2 pm at the box office at 941-475- 6756 or online at www.lemonbayplayhouse.com
