Chapman State Park Programming June 27, 2010

Chapman State Park, Clarendon, PA 16313. 3 PM - 5:30 PM. 11 AM. Family Fishing Program. The PA Fish and Boat Commission invites you to spend the afternoon with your family fishing at Chapman State Park. The program offers basics on how to rig a fishing rod, types of bait, knot tying, rules and regulations, casting practice, hands on fishing and basics on being a S.M.A.R.T. angler. Fishing licenses are NOT required during the program; however they are required for for anyone over 16 years old if they want to fish after the program ends. All equipment and handout materials will be supplied. Items you may wish to bring are sunscreen, bug spray, water, weather appropriate clothing, lunch/snack and your camera. Pre-registraion is REQUIRED by Friday June 25 th. Please call the park ofice at 814-723-0250 to register. The program will be held at pavilion #1, by the spillway.
