2055 Oak Industrial Dr NE, Ste C
Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505

We need 16-18 volunteers on November 14th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. to help prepare sack suppers for school children through Kids Food Basket. This is a great family activity for older children. Please RSVP to Jessaca if you are interested in helping.

Kids Food Basket of Grand Rapids meets the needs of area children that would otherwise go without evening meals. The metro Grand Rapids area has a food hardship rate of 19.4%, ranking it 34th among the 100 largest metropolitan areas in the US (surpassing both Detroit and Chicago). Today, the KFB serves about 2,500 a day during the school year. There are currently 13 sites in the Grand Rapids area that are on the waiting list for assistance from this group.
