This workshop, taught by Jean Kelly, CSC, CT, SC:L, NAD IV, with more than 30-years of interpreting experience, will talk about the process of turn-taking and how it naturally occurs in ASL/signed English and spoken English. The workshop will also discuss strategies to keep a successful and smooth conversation moving by:
? Being aware of various non-verbal and non-manual markers
? Talking about cultural cues?both deaf and hearing
