What is a ScrumMaster?
An agile project manager emphasizes facilitation, leadership and communication over traditional command-and-control activities. In the Scrum process, this role is called “ScrumMaster” as a constant reminder of the differences between agile and traditional project management. The ScrumMaster’s role is to maximize the team’s efforts toward its goals while removing the impediments that stand in its way. This course is lead by and experienced scrum coach.

Certified ScrumMaster
Certified ScrumMaster course covers the origins, principles, roles and mechanics of the Scrum process. This two-day course teaches the principles and practices that make ScrumMasters effective facilitators and productivity enhancers. Attendees are trained be able to:
1. Increase bandwidth between development and customer to enable customer driven development;
2. Help customers maximize their ROI and ultimately meet product objectives through Scrum;
3. Improve development teams’ effectiveness by fostering creativity and empowerment;
4. Create a sustainable pace of development; and
5. Help the development-team build iteratively and deliver incrementally.

The CSM course includes two days of lectures and interactive exercises designed to effectively teach Scrum principles and practices.

This course makes use of what you already know. The course is an intensive interactive training session designed to leverage your experiences so that you can learn the practice of Scrum in the context of what you know. Upon successful completion, attendees receive official designation as "Certified ScrumMasters" by the Scrum Alliance with an active membership for 1 year.
