Certificate in Real Estate Entitlement, Development and Design October 5, 2010

This class will present the Architect’s role in site planning and building design, highlighting the issues and decisions that lead to sustainable developments and buildings. The class will follow the design process through the myriad of choices and regulations that are encountered in getting projects built. Special emphasis will be devoted to the re-emergence of mixed-use developments and town centers as an alternative to suburban sprawl.
