Linda Heasley, president and CEO of The Limited, will personally meet fashion students from the International Academy of Design & Technology in Sacramento at a speaking engagement open to the public at the campus on Friday, March 23. Heasley will share her own leadership style and offer tips for success in the working world, as well as a background on the retail industry and The Limited’s evolution.
Heasley is credited with overhauling the brand’s image to turn a profit after a 17-year decline. She'll be in town to officially kick off the company’s growing presence in California. Earlier in the day, she'll lead a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate The Limited’s grand opening at Westfield Galleria at Roseville, marking the first stop of the company’s statewide expansion.
A percentage of weekend proceeds from the store's opening will benefit the Roseville City School District Foundation, funding the Partners in Education Grant program. The Limited supports teachers year-round through a 15 percent discount with teacher ID.
