Kenneth Lewis, the CEO of the worlds fifth most profitable company, Bank of America, will focus on the greening of America as an opportunity for American businessfor good public relations, innovative expansion and profit. He will look at business as a force for social progress, and outline the advantages companies have when they can see change approaching and meet it head on. Corporate America is greening, says Lewis, and the window of opportunity to partake of this trend is closing.

Lewis has served as CEO, President, and Chairman of Bank America since 2001. Before that he served as COO, and in the 1980s he led the banks operations in Florida and Texas. Lewis started working for Bank of America in 1969 (when it was North Carolina National Bank) as a credit analyst.

Lewis currently serves as a member of the Financial Services Roundtable and the Financial Services Forum. He is a member of the Committee to Encourage Corporate Philanthropy and vice chairman of the Corporate Fund Board of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Lewis was born in Meridian, Mississippi. He earned his B.A. from Georgia State University and graduated from Stanford Universitys Executive Program.
