Every week, our farmers bring the very best in homegrown fruits vegetables, and other goods, and we welcome our neighbors from the surrounding communities of Washington Park, West Hill, Center Square, and Sheridan Square to enjoy the bounty of the countryside.

The Central Avenue Farmers' Market helps residents sustain a healthy lifestyle and supports farmers, providing a reliable customer-base for their produce every week. By accepting EBT and WIC benefits, the farmers' market will also provide some of our city's most under-served populations with access to healthy, high-quality foods in a convenient location.

The Central Avenue Farmers' Market also hosts a range of performers, including live music and artisans at work. And, every week, the market will offer the free Kids Ecology program, where kids can learn about their health, nutrition, science, gardening, the environment, and sustainable living.
