A romantic Irish tale filled with mystery is at the heart of "The Seventh Stream," a 2001 movie that kicks off this year's Celtic Film Series. The program is free of charge and reservations are not needed.
Set on the rocky coast of western Ireland, this Hallmark Hall of Fame production tells the romantic story of a widowed fisherman who sees only a grim future until a beautiful and mysterious women arrives and something magical changes his life. It stars Scott Glenn and Saffron Burrows.
The Library presents the Celtic Film Series in cooperation with the local chapters of the St. Andrew Benevolent Association and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.
